Job Title: Sr Technical Consultant Casualty Claims – CGL
Location: Remote
Job Summary: We seek an experienced casualty claims professional to join our team in a technical capacity. Our team values expertise in commercial general liability and strategic problem-solving skills to deliver comprehensive claim resolutions.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve complex commercial general liability claims across multiple states.
- Collaborate with defense counsel, risk managers, agents, and all parties involved to ensure timely and cost-effective claim resolution.
- Prepare and present analysis for litigation, mediation, arbitration, and hearings while maintaining confidentiality and a high level of customer service.
- Review contracts, leases, and related documentation to identify risk transfer opportunities and manage litigation expenses.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years commercial general liability litigation experience with an insurance carrier (Third Party Administrator experience alone will not be considered).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; industry designation preferred.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and written/verbal communication skills with the ability to manage relationships and resolve disputes.
- Working knowledge of relevant statutes, regulations, and case law, with proficiency in MS Office and the ability to work in a paperless environment.
